The knoll-like cross section of the property organizes a series of terraced interior levels which cascade across the topography of the site. The street side facade is defined by a series of interlocking plaster and wood volumes which visually protect the interior from the public way

Since winning first prize in an open international competition in 2009, One Ocean has captured the attention of the international community with its gill-like kinetic façade and sustainable climate design. Two pavilions and the urban equipment were designed.
