Røldal Pilgrim Center Proposal / LETH & GORI

Courtesy of LETH & GORI LETH & GORI shared with us their proposal for the Pilgrim Centre in Røldal which creates a new building in close connection with the 13th century church. Made as an extension to the existing church wall, their design becomes a natural and integral part of the Church complex. More images and architects’ description after the break.

To the south, a new middle school recreation yard is framed by a broad wood deck for quiet play and a tall folded rebound wall. Built using shotcrete against single-sided formwork, this articulated surface encourages creative ball play and invented games

Research and Technology Innovation Park / Brooks + Scarpa

The site is located in Monterrey near the airport and adjoins a natural habitat. The program includes labs, offices, testing facilities, and warehouse spaces and will be constructed in two phases.
