London -based practice Fletcher Priest Architects have designed a 16-story tower that will replace the existing, outdated 1980s office building. Now under construction, the new 230,000 square-foot office building at 6 Bevis Marks will reuse 50% of the original structure and be 80% more energy efficient than the current building. Their design consists of a pump with a sprinkler connected to a compressor and a generator creating a very fearsome creature which lays ‘ice eggs’. Heritage revitalization is primarily software driven and its operating model should reflect the social needs and benefit at time rather than only upkeep architecture which frozen in time. Social Inclusion of Ethnic Minority If we are to achieve a richer culture, rich in contrasting values, we must recognize the whole range of human potentials, and weave a less arbitrary social fabric, one in which each diverse human gift will find a fitting place.
